I dunno, all the screenshots so far have been from geforce 256 video cards; I think DF might actually be playable on a cheap PC. Time will tell, of course, and what $400 buys now is different from what $400 will buy in 6 months.

I got a Geforce MX 3d-card and a processor of 1.5 Gh so I think/hope I'll be in the safe zone
