    Hi All,

Thought I would give you a brief Swtor update. I am the only Oromea person still playing I think

I have been playing quite regularly in last month, the pvp has actually grown on me even despite the tab targetting and big gear focus, especially now that I have decent gear and can fight on a fairly even footing against most opponents now. I quickly got bored with it soon after hitting level 50 and started playing alts/story side more but after updating my orange gear with purple 49/50 mods I started to gain some good traction and survive alot more so stuck with it. I have really only focussed on the warzone side for pvp, tried Ilum and it is tedious. The warzone side as some of you know plays very much like a fps in terms of short sharp engagements over objectives and so is a nice diversion and the daily pvp missions are easily cleared with 2 hours of pvp, sometimes I have wrapped up the first daily in just over 30 minutes if I get into a good team and three wins. The queues at peak times are tiny, I can come out of one warzone and straight into another. Doing this most days for two weeks got me fully champion geared and I made battlemaster last week which was nice. I now find often that I am one of the people who gets focus fired by the opposition because being a dps speced commando with good gear I can waste people pretty rapidly now and with some good tactics I can survive for a good while even when outnumbered and make myself very annoying. Funny how some folks forget completely about objectives and just chase you around because you fragged them a few times or keep plonking them in acid or pushing them off a bridge

I have also done a few of the high level ops and flashpoints now with various guilds in game which was a nice break from pvp. I created a few more alts and have a guardian and sage at level 17, vanguard at level 15 (all unguilded) and my smuggler who is guilded at level 26. I basically have crafting and gathering covered now apart from armstech and am thinking of starting another smugler for that. Pvp for sub 50's is dead though - queue times are just far too long.

Made quite a few friends via the pvp and flashpoint/ops side of things and had alot of questions about what/where Oromea doing/are and also had a lot of offers of why don't I guild X for the time being which is quite sweet Must be my prowess in pvp and general allround helpfulness in ops thats swings it

I am actually considering an offer from Sol (of KoE DF) and so might well swap to their swtor in game guild this week as they are pretty active. If I decide to switch I will be leaving my alt as oromean and I log her on every night anyway to set up crafting and check the gtn/do the odd bit of smuggler story. Any switch I make is just temporary, still keen to play with you all in GW2 and ArchAge

Go right ahead and join up with KOE. You are defiantly not forced to be tagged when hardly anyone else here plays the game. I'm glad you found a game that's fun for you. Oh and you should tell those KOE guys to stop by more often, or at least let us know there vent ip.

sry kreen, didnt see you on for the rest of my days before it expired.
but swtor pvp and instances grew on me.

First i had to go thru the many weeks where noone could gain pvp gear, vs those with it.
then when everyone could get it, it just became a lame shootout playground. (with a few exceptions)
and not seeing many people on at the end, made me decide to quit the game.

Ive allready seen how most of the stories end, i were tbh. very disapointed that no matter what you chose, the story ends the same way.

you should join up with the koe guys do they even have people playing still other than sol?

I'm glad your having fun Kreen, I had to force myself to finish levelling my char. I usually enjoy pvp grounds but for some reason I just couldn't get into it for SWTOR.

I remember SoL. Didn't meet him more than a few times, but remember I liked him.

    Sounds like you're having fun.
Hope you find even more fun in the top levels.

We have something in common then. I am also hunting in RL and I agree, it is not fun. The prey doesn't even taste good.
I just can't wait till my life has some semblance of routine along with some routine paychecks after this unpaid practicum is over.
I almost wish I could forget about hunting and have a farm with a few bunnies for good eating. Rabbit stew brings back memories of a simpler time.
