    Default Oromëa in SWTOR

If anyone is interested or going to be playing SWTOR, sign up for our guild here.

We already have enough pre-orders to get the guild into the early release so we're not too worried there but if you would like to play with good people that you know than you should defiantly sign up

Understandable. We will be more into ArcheAge when it comes out. SWTOR should be an excellent filler until then

    I'm still on the fence..

How newbie friendly is this game? I'm trying to get my wife to play mmo's.

She didn't like wow much :\

SWTOR would be perfect for her if she likes single player games because that is essentially what it is. She won't even realize it is an mmo for the first few levels at least. It is very wow like though, so depending on what she didn't like about wow that could be an issue.

It is similar to WoW in a lot of ways: tab targeting, level progression through quests, controls, skill trees and instanced PvP. Every character has a class story and it feels like Myth said, a single player rpg for the first 10-15 levels. However you can still quest and play with your friends/spouse through the entire game (yes even the rpg story part of it). If you liked KoToR one and two and thought it would be great to play through them with someone else, you will not be disappointed

Its pretty much like your everyday WASD tab targeting game.
The parts of crafting i did, were really easy too. and for lowerlevel recourses for crafting is very easy to come by.
other than that, its very history driven, and you can chose to be very evil in your story or very good.. (somewhere in the middle is a option too)
