Ikkari gave Dhamon back a full mug. "Right now we tend our forest and welcome weary travelers," he explained. "But when the time comes we will move in force and re-plant our forest in more fertile soil. There are many jobs to do and not all include manual labour," Ikkari said with a wry grin on his face and sat back down. "The best way to be able to help would be to join us," he took a large drink from his mug, "however it is a long proccess and not all are able to pass the tests".

Dhamon takes a drink from his fresh mug and sets it down with a satisfied sigh.
"Well weary of travel I am so I can tell you with all honesty that I would be most thankful to stay here as long as you would have me."
He remains standing at the bar and turns to face Ikkari fully before continuing, "I am all for tasks devoid of sweat and hours under the hot sun. Indeed my instrumentation is a toil for the mind. Now about this long testing process. I can't imagine they are on a strictly intellectual level?" He says this with a barely imperceptible nod towards the barbarian woman.
"And what of this talk of moving in force and such? Is this a militant group? What about others? Beware the spark of my curiosity my friend. Once lit it can get me into all sorts of trouble. Or at least leave you without a moments peace." Dhamon finishes with an innocent smile.

Reflections from the fire dance off of Avienda's axe as it separates his head from the rest of him. Blood spurts from the neck of the still standing corpse staining the robes of the two mages. Avienda would have to replace Mytherceria's; her sister loved the dark blue silk with patterned silver embroidery. A red mist hangs in the air before painting the floor in speckles and the walls behind have a nice line of crimson from her swing. Dhamon's decapitated head rolls to rest against the leg of a chair and looks up at Avienda with a gaping mouth and surprised eyes.
Avienda blinked and looked at the far corner where she left her axe and back again at Dhamon who was still slouched against the bar with his innocent smile, head still attached.

"We will move in force into these new lands", Ikkari takes a drink from his mug, "but that does not mean we intend to seek wars of conquest, yet." A small grin spreads his face, "We are not solely a militant group, we have people who do quite a variety of things; however we do not run from conflict and every member is expected to help defend our lands." Ikkari takes a larger drink from his mug and places the empty mug on the table, "and one more thing," Ikkari starts to get up, "intelligence can be found in many places, and not always in intellectuals."
