Day 4: Day at the museum and night at the garden
Avi and I woke up around 8:30 and I'm pretty sure the kids were still sleeping! It was a long day for them the day before and they must have needed it. So we made some coffee and got ready for the day and went downstairs to eat the free hot breakfast supplied by the hotel. I gotta say, it was a pretty good breakfast. They had omelettes, bacon, bread, pastries, waffles, juices and coffees. After we had our fill we left for the Museum of Natural History!
OK, seems like an exciting place right? Well it wasn't. It was crowded, dirty and noisy. I suppose it might be a lot better with a lot less people there but I would guess only a little. We did get to see the dinosaur exhibit though which was pretty neat although the kids thought it was pretty meh. The best parts of the whole museum were the butterfly pavilion and the gems and minerals exhibit.
We left the museum at around 5:30 and went to the Olive Garden for dinner. I have to say that this was slightly disappointing too. Only slightly though. The bread they serve was too salty and doughy for my tastes, like mini loafs of wonder bread with salt and butter on top, bleh. The mains were decent though, Avi had ravioli and I had a seafood pasta. It wasn't anything special though and I thought my spaghetti from the night before was better
This was the end of our day. We went back to the hotel and put the kids in bed at a decent time and Avi and I played Worms Armageddon on our laptop before going to bed ourselves.
